How Approval Works
- All shortlisted Breaking the Ice projects are included in the peer approval.
- The shortlisted teams are split into two random groups. Each project will select all of the projects in the other group that they believe should win the hackathon. This is to ensure that projects can vote sincerely without hurting their own chances.
- The projects with the most votes from each group will be the final winners of the hackathon and evenly share the $30,000 prize.
How to Participate
- Explore the projects.
- Tap the checkbox under the project to approve. You can approve as many projects as you like.
- Submit your approvals. You can only submit approvals once.
